Map Maker

Color-code maps of the world, North America, US states, Canada, Mexico, or Europe — then download as PNG or SVG.

Make a color-coded map

The Map Maker turns a blank map into a color-coded one you can download. Click regions to fill them with color, build a legend, and export the result as a PNG image or a scalable SVG — no account, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What you can map

Six maps are built in: the world by country, North America with US states, Canadian provinces, and Mexican states together, and separate maps for the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. That covers most of what people need it for — sales and delivery territories, travel maps of places you've been, survey or election results, service coverage areas, or a classroom handout.

Using the tool

Pick a map, choose a color, and click regions to fill them. Use the search box to find a specific state or country fast. When it looks right, export a PNG to drop into a document or an SVG if you need it to stay crisp at any size.

Common question

Can I download the map?

Yes — both PNG and SVG. PNG is best for slides, documents, and the web; SVG is best if you'll resize or edit it later in a vector program.
